More than 350 occupations in Germany for young Vietnamese people through a cooperation project between VGEC Company and DEHOGA Sachsen-Anhalt Group

On March 20, 2025, in Hanoi , Viet Duc Aspiration Joint Stock Company (VGEC) and the Sachsen-Anhalt State Hotel and Restaurant Association (DEHOGA Sachsen-Anhalt) officially signed a memorandum of cooperation, promising to bring young Vietnamese people many job opportunities with more than 350 occupations in the Federal Republic of Germany through the German vocational study abroad program.

The signing ceremony was attended by leaders and staff from both sides, along with hundreds of young people and their families interested in job opportunities in Germany. The signing between VGEC and DEHOGA marks a new step forward in cooperation in training high-quality human resources, while affirming the commitment of both sides in supporting the young generation of Vietnam to orient their future and reach out to the international labor market.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Michael Schmidt said that DEHOGA highly appreciated the thorough and systematic preparation in foreign language training and career orientation of VGEC for Vietnamese students. He shared: “VGEC has demonstrated its ability to train not only in terms of language but also in the factors and qualities that German enterprises are in great need of. That is diligence, hard work, perseverance as well as the ability to always self-reflect and self-correct. With those qualities and mottos, you will go much further in the Federal Republic of Germany.”

On the Vietnamese side, Mr. Pham Quang Minh - Chairman of VGEC affirmed that the cooperation program with DEHOGA is an opportunity for many young people with modest starting points to still be able to build a clear and solid career future. “I believe that, although young Vietnamese people may be small and sometimes shy, in return, they are very agile, intelligent, persistent and full of will. And it is these qualities that will help you succeed and contribute to the overall development of Germany. You have been very brave in choosing this path, and VGEC will always accompany you, as long as you do not give up your dream of going to Germany.”

Immediately afterwards, Dr. Robert Franke - General Director of Sachsen-Anhalt State Investment and Marketing Company Limited, also emphasized the development significance of the cooperation project in expanding career opportunities for Vietnamese students: “At the beginning, our project did not have many career options for students. However, with constant efforts, the project has opened up many new opportunities. Specifically, there are now more than 350 careers for students to choose from, so they will no longer be limited in their jobs. The only thing they need to do is understand themselves to make the right decision, and we will accompany them on that path.”

On the day of the signing ceremony, VGEC students also had the opportunity to meet and talk directly with Ms. Claudia Schwalenberg - representative of DEHOGA Sachsen-Anhalt and listen to the sharing from Master Le My Huyen - VGEC Training Director to understand the details of the program, the groups of industries that are recruiting and career prospects in Germany. According to the cooperation content, students participating in the program will be trained and work in more than 350 different industries in the state of Sachsen-Anhalt, including the fields of restaurants - hotels, engineering, mechanics, technology and many other industries.

DEHOGA Sachsen-Anhalt is an association representing businesses in the restaurant and hotel service industry in the state of Sachsen-Anhalt, with the mission of developing and ensuring the quality of human resources for the entire industry.
