On March 1, according to information from Lang Son Provincial Police, the Investigation Police Department of Dinh Lap District Police has just detained Vi Van Kinh (50 years old, residing in Phat Chi village, Dinh Lap commune, Dinh Lap district) to clarify the act of resisting a person on duty while participating in traffic.
Previously, at 4:45 p.m. on February 28, a working group of Dinh Lap District Police was on duty at km 55+700 of National Highway 4B in Zone 3, Dinh Lap Town, Dinh Lap District and discovered Vi Van Kinh driving a motorbike unsteadily, showing signs of having consumed alcohol.
The task force stopped the vehicle to check Vi Van Kinh's alcohol level, but he did not comply and continued to curse and threaten the soldiers on duty.

After that, Mr. Kinh used violence against the traffic police officer on duty.
The task force immediately controlled the subject and brought him to Dinh Lap District Police headquarters for clarification according to regulations.
When he was taken to the police station, Mr. Vi Van Kinh was still not fully conscious.
He admitted to having previously drunk a lot of alcohol at an acquaintance's house. The police measured his blood alcohol level, and the result was 0.177 mg/liter of breath.
At the time of inspection, this person could not present a driver's license or vehicle registration as required.
