Lan Ong Street is a place where traditional medicine and traditional medicine are concentrated, and is a street with many households trading in Southeast Asian medicine that have existed for hundreds of years. By recreating the operating space of this traditional craft street, the exhibition and introduction of Lan Ong Southeast Asian medicine craft street contributes to preserving heritage values and promoting traditional craft values of Thang Long - Hanoi.

Lan Ong Street is a famous street in Hanoi, with a long history and the traditional profession is trading oriental medicine with nearly 100 oriental medicine shops on a street about 200m long. This is also one of the few streets in Hanoi's 36 streets that has kept the traditional profession according to its name after hundreds of years of history. The photo series was submitted by the author to the Photo and Video Contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam", organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications. 
The exhibition took place at Phuc Kien Assembly Hall – 40 Lan Ong, Hang Bo Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. The exhibition aims to introduce the history of the street, the results and achievements in the development of medicinal herbs and traditional medicine products in the country and the potential strengths of traditional medicine in caring for and protecting people's health. 
Through that, the space of activities of the traditional oriental medicine street is also recreated through the display of pictures and documents about the history of the oriental medicine street. 
Booths introduce medicinal products, valuable remedies, demonstrate pulse taking, massage, acupressure, and provide health consultation to people. 
Many people who need medical examination and treatment with traditional oriental medicine also came to the event to get their pulse taken, prescriptions and free consultation. 
Some books, publications, documents on Eastern medicine. 
Some tools and means used to prepare Eastern medicine. 
The exhibition is not only an opportunity to introduce the unique values of the profession to the public and domestic and foreign tourists, but also a practical contribution to raising community awareness of preserving and promoting traditional craft values. 
Lan Ong Street is not only a place specializing in Eastern medicine but also a place that attracts a large number of people in the capital, domestic and foreign tourists to visit, contributing to the development of tourism and service economy of Hoan Kiem district in particular and Hanoi city in general. 
The Organizing Committee said that the exhibition introducing the Lan Ong Southeast Asian medicine profession will be a long-term activity, taking place every Saturday and Sunday. In 2024, the Photo and Video Contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam" continues to be organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists on the website https://happy.vietnam.vn for all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and over. The contest aims to honor individuals and groups with positive information products, making practical contributions to the propaganda and promotion of beautiful images of Vietnam to the world.
