According to Xports News, on the afternoon of August 26, a pre-release video for the 98th episode of the program “President's People” on cable channel tvN Story was posted on YouTube.
At the home of Hanbok artist Park Sool-nyeo, who appeared as a guest that day, there were several sets of men's Hanbok hanging.
Kim Yong Gun curiously asked, “Who wore this Hanbok?” Park Sool-nyeo revealed, “BTS, BTS wore our clothes when they first debuted.”
Next, a frame was introduced in which Park Sool-nyeo took a photo with 7 BTS members, but Suga's face was blurred.
In another frame, when artist Park sits in front of a wall with pictures of BTS and a group of other artists wearing Hanbok, in addition to Suga, trot singer Kim Ho Joong's face is also blurred.
Both Suga and Kim Ho Joong violated traffic laws by driving while drunk.
Kim Ho Joong was arrested and charged in May this year, when he drove into a parked taxi and fled the scene while drunk. The singer has now been banned from South Korea's national broadcaster KBS.
Suga (BTS) was found falling while driving an electric scooter while drunk on Hannam-dong Street, Yongsan-gu, Seoul at around 11pm on August 6.
When tested for blood alcohol concentration, the male singer violated the law by up to 0.227%, much higher than the 0.08% driving license revocation level.
Suga is the Kpop idol with the highest alcohol level violation ever, but he claimed that he "only drank one beer".
On the evening of August 23, BTS members appeared at Yongsan Police Station (Seoul) to receive questioning and investigation for about 3 hours.
On August 25, Suga once again apologized to the audience and the entire BTS group through a handwritten letter. He expressed regret and remorse for damaging BTS's reputation and disappointing fans.
Police said the investigation into Suga has been completed and the singer will not be summoned again. But the final results have not yet been announced.
Under current law in Korea, if you are caught driving an electric vehicle while drunk and have a blood alcohol concentration of 0.2% or higher, you can be imprisoned for 2-5 years or fined from 10-20 million won.
KBS has yet to make a decision on establishing a Broadcast Appearance Regulations Review Committee for BTS' Suga.
KBS explained that since Suga is currently serving as a public service worker during his military service, he will not be able to appear on television programs, so the station has not considered whether to ban him from broadcasting. On the other hand, the police investigation into Suga has not yet reached a final result.
Singer Kim Ho Joong, singer Shin Hye Sung, actress Kim Sae Ron, and actor Kwak Do Won are artists who have been "banned" from KBS for drunk driving.
