At the unit's belt localities, the Division Commander visited Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, a 1/4 disabled soldier residing in Binh Phong hamlet, Thai Binh commune, and Mr. Nguyen Van Nhuong, a 2/4 disabled soldier residing in Thanh Dien.
At Ward 4, Tan Chau town, the delegation visited People's Armed Forces Hero Tran Thi Sua. At Chau Thanh district, they visited Vietnamese heroic mothers: Nguyen Thi Chay (Dong Khoi commune), Pham Thi Niem (Hoa Thanh commune), Nguyen Thi Sau (Hoa Hoi commune), Nguyen Thi Su (Hoa Hoi commune).
At each place visited, the Division Commander respectfully asked about the health and wished the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Armed Forces Heroes, and wounded soldiers good health and to be shining examples of patriotism for the younger generations to follow. At the same time, each family was given a gift of 1 million VND.
Over the past time, the Party Committee and the Division Command have always maintained and implemented well the Army's rear policy and the policy towards war invalids, martyrs' families, and families with revolutionary contributions. They have closely coordinated with local departments, branches, and organizations to effectively organize the "Repaying gratitude" movement.
The Division regularly receives and proposes solutions to the opinions reflecting the aspirations of families with preferential policies. Strengthening propaganda and education for cadres, soldiers and people to clearly understand and effectively implement policies for the Army's rear, war invalids, martyrs and "Repaying gratitude", combined with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, the campaign "Joining hands for the poor - leaving no one behind", contributing to raising awareness and responsibility for cadres and soldiers, this is not only a responsibility, but also a morality, a gratitude for the great sacrifices of previous generations.

Promoted extensive propaganda activities among cadres, soldiers and people about the profound meaning of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the national morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking, repaying gratitude". Organized many activities such as big screen film screenings; cultural and artistic exchanges; thematic activities " Paying tribute to loyal children "; participated in the program "Lighting candles to pay tribute to heroic martyrs" at the Tan Bien District Martyrs' Cemetery, visited martyrs' cemeteries in Chau Thanh and Go Dau districts when participating in local mass mobilization work;
Offering incense at the Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs of the Division; participating in the visit to the Martyrs Cemetery of Chau Thanh district; visiting and presenting gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces in the area; wounded soldiers who were former soldiers of the Division in the unit's belt area; meeting and presenting gifts to wounded soldiers, relatives of martyrs working at the Division and officers and soldiers suffering from serious illnesses or long-term illnesses; visiting and presenting gifts to officers and soldiers undergoing medical treatment on the occasion of July 27.
