By the end of 2024, the province had 39 vocational training institutions and institutions participating in vocational training activities. With the attention, direction and participation of the province and departments, branches and localities, vocational training in the province has initially achieved important results. The awareness of society, people and businesses about vocational training has had positive changes, the number of people participating in vocational training is increasing, the rate of graduates having jobs with stable income is high.
In particular, implementing the policy of restructuring the apparatus, from March 1, 2025, the Department of Education and Training officially took over the task of vocational education from the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs. This policy aims to improve management efficiency, create connectivity and synchronization between general education and vocational education, towards the goal of training high-quality human resources in the future. To ensure the continuous reception and implementation of vocational education tasks, the Department of Education and Training has promptly arranged and organized the apparatus and carried out the assigned tasks.
At the meeting, vocational training institutions in the province shared and discussed some difficulties such as: Attracting and retaining teachers for autonomous units, strengthening enrollment, organizing internships at enterprises, improving training quality at vocational training institutions, tuition support policies, etc.
The conference aimed to focus on assessing the current situation of vocational education in the area, at the same time, listening to practical sharing, thereby proposing solutions and issues that need to be adjusted to improve the effectiveness of vocational education activities in the new period, as well as creating conditions for facilities to fully promote their potential and strengths.
