Mr. Ramachandran AS (RamC), Country Director of Citibank in Vietnam, has just been elected as the new Chairman of AmCham Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City.
The information has just been announced by the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham Vietnam) in Ho Chi Minh City - one of the largest foreign business associations in Vietnam with more than 550 businesses and 2,500 individual members.
Mr. RamC takes over as chairman from his predecessor Greg Testerman, CEO of banking consulting firm Testerman Advisor.

Mr. RamC holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from BITS Pilani (India) and a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore. He has 29 years of experience at Citibank across multiple functional areas.
Starting his career in India in 1998, he held various management positions in different markets such as the Netherlands and Singapore from 2000 to 2011. During the period 2011-2021, he worked in London (UK), in charge of banking, capital markets and business consulting activities.
His extensive experience with the world's largest multinational companies enables him to engage in policy advocacy, frameworks and regulations to promote healthy and sustainable growth.
For the 2024 term, AmCham Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City also elected Ms. Winnie Wong, Country Director for Vietnam, Cambodia & Laos of Mastercard; and Mr. Michael Nguyen, Country Director for Boeing Vietnam, as two vice presidents. Along with that, Intel Products Vietnam CFO Ace Wilson and Coca-Cola Vietnam and Cambodia General Director Leonardo Garcia are treasurer and secretary, respectively.
