Many stores sharply reduce the selling price of SJC gold bars

On the morning of April 2, SJC and PNJ listed the price of SJC gold bars at around VND99.4 million/tael for buying and VND102.1 million/tael for selling, stable compared to the end of yesterday. However, compared to the record peak on the morning of April 1, each tael of gold bar decreased by VND500,000.

The price of 99.99 gold rings and jewelry gold of all kinds was reduced by SJC Company to 99.2 million VND/tael for buying, 101.5 million VND/tael for selling - down 100,000 VND compared to the end of yesterday and down half a million VND compared to the highest peak.

Meanwhile, Mi Hong Company listed the buying price of SJC gold bars at 99.4 million VND/tael, but the selling price was only 101.2 million VND/tael, a million VND lower than SJC company.

Some gold shops in Ho Chi Minh City reported lower selling prices for SJC gold bars, around 100.6 million VND/tael.

SJC gold bar price varies from place to place

Gold prices suddenly "turned around" from the end of yesterday, falling after many days of shocking increases, leaving the all-time peak of 102.6 million VND/tael.

In the international market, precious metals had a volatile session when they fell sharply and then recovered. At 9:30 am, Vietnam time, the price of gold today was at 3,134 USD/ounce, up nearly 20 USD compared to early this morning.

In the trading session last night and early this morning on the international market, the price of gold fell to 3,100 USD/ounce at times and then quickly increased again. Investors on the international market are "holding their breath" for the announcement of US President Donald Trump's tariff policy today (April 2).

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 97.6 million VND/tael.
