Will continue to inspect Vinh Long Lottery Company

(NLDO) - The Government Inspectorate discovered that Vinh Long Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. used the Development Investment Fund to receive the transfer of 8 real estate addresses.

On March 27, according to a source from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, the Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People 's Committee issued a decision to implement the conclusion of the Government Inspectorate on March 3, 2025.

Previously, the Government Inspectorate announced the inspection conclusion on "Implementation of the law in inspection work, citizen reception, handling of complaints and denunciations, anti-corruption; land management and use, and basic construction investment in Vinh Long province, period 2013 - 2020".

In particular, the Government Inspectorate proposed to inspect, review, and re-determine to collect and pay into the state budget all revenues from house and land rental activities but accounted for in other income in 2018, 2019, 2020 (amount of VND 2,530,000,000) and from 2021 to present (if any) of Vinh Long Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. according to the provisions of Clause 4, Article 15 of Decree No. 167 dated December 31, 2017 of the Government.

Regarding this content, Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee will preside, the implementing units include: Department of Finance, Department of Construction, Department of Agriculture and Environment. Implementation time is in the second quarter of 2025.

Also in the above inspection conclusion notice, the Government Inspectorate discovered that Vinh Long Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. used the Development Investment Fund to receive the transfer of 8 real estate addresses in violation of regulations. The transferred assets were not publicly disclosed by the company in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Anti-Corruption.

In addition, the content of publicizing salary and bonus payment activities has not been implemented by the lottery company in accordance with the regulations of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Finance on salary payment regime through accounts and the Law on Anti-Corruption.

Some limitations and violations of documents and accounting books at this lottery company have been identified by the State Audit and the Ministry of Finance but have been slow to be resolved.
