Vietnam invites China, Laos, Cambodia to send soldiers to participate in the parade

On the morning of April 1, in Hanoi, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien, Deputy Minister of National Defense, had a meeting with defense attaches from China, Laos and Cambodia in Vietnam.

At the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien assessed that in recent times, defense cooperation between Vietnam and China, Laos and Cambodia has been continuously promoted in various fields, notably delegation exchanges, training, military cooperation, and border defense friendship exchanges.

According to Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien, Vietnam is preparing to organize the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

This is a major political event for Vietnam, and also a common joy for international friends who have given sincere and wholehearted help to the Vietnamese revolution.

Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien announced that the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense will soon send an official letter inviting the leaders of the Ministries of National Defense of China, Laos and Cambodia to attend the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, as well as inviting the Ministries of National Defense of the three countries to send military units to participate in the parade at the celebration.

The Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense highly expects and believes that the participation of the three countries' Ministries of National Defense will make an important contribution to the overall success of the celebration, as well as demonstrate the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and the three neighboring countries with adjacent borders.

Defense attaches from China, Laos and Cambodia emphasized the important significance of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification of Vietnam; at the same time, they affirmed that they would promptly report back to their home countries and advise domestic authorities to promote the contents that Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien had mentioned.
