Continuing the trade promotion trip to Japan, this morning, the delegation of Vinh Long province led by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Lu Quang Ngoi visited and worked with the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka, Japan. Receiving the delegation was Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha - Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka.

At the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province - Lu Quang Ngoi thanked Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha for taking the time to receive the delegation. At the same time, he informed about the socio-economic situation of Vinh Long province with many positive and comprehensive results in all fields. Vinh Long has achieved and exceeded 21/21 main targets set, the province's economic growth reached 6.5%; average income per capita reached 85.2 million VND/year.

In 2024, the province's export turnover will reach over 1 billion USD. With its available potential, Vinh Long province continues to maintain and strengthen traditional friendship relations, develop and expand cooperative relations with Japan. Since 2023, Vinh Long province has cooperated with Niigata province in many fields.

During this working trip, Vinh Long province hopes that the Vietnamese Consulate General in Osaka province will continue to support the province in connecting investment promotion and strengthening trade relations between Vinh Long province and localities and partners in Japan under the responsibility of the Consulate General.

Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha - Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka expressed his joy at the multi-faceted development of Vinh Long province in 2024, affirming that he always creates conditions for Vietnamese provinces and cities, including Vinh Long province, to exchange, connect, and cooperate with units, corporations, and enterprises in Osaka province.

Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha said that he has just coordinated to organize the Vietnamese cultural festival in Osaka in 2025. This is not only an opportunity to preserve and spread Vietnamese culture but also a bridge to bring the image of the country and people of Vietnam closer to Japanese friends. For this working trip of Vinh Long province, the Consulate General will create favorable conditions for the province to promote trade with corporations and businesses in Japan.
