Dien Bien TV - Dien Bien province is implementing 12 key projects, most of which are behind schedule. What are the reasons and when the causes of the slow progress of the projects have been identified, what actions have local authorities and investors taken to remove obstacles and difficulties?

Of the 12 key projects being implemented by Dien Bien province, 7 projects use state budget capital and 5 projects use non-state budget capital. Up to now, the projects are basically behind schedule compared to the set plan. Of the 12 projects, only the Muong Thanh Market and Trade Service Project no longer has difficulties with land. The remaining projects basically have problems with land, little construction volume or have not been implemented yet.

The Dong Luc Road project running through communes of Dien Bien district is also facing difficulties because it has not been able to hand over clean land to the construction unit.

The reason for the slow progress of the projects is determined to be due to difficulties and obstacles in compensation and site clearance in Dien Bien Phu city and Dien Bien district. In addition, verifying the origin of the land has encountered many difficulties due to the complicated history of land management and use over the periods.

By the end of 2025, many key projects in the province will have to be completed and put into use. Based on identifying bottlenecks and causes of project delays, specialized agencies and local authorities have proposed solutions to overcome them.
