According to the report of the Military Youth Committee, implementing the plan and instructions of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army on organizing the Contest to learn about the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, the political agencies of the key units under the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense have paid attention to leading and directing the good implementation of propaganda work, launching participation in the contest; building a plan to organize the contest at their level to ensure strictness, science and effectiveness.
The representative of the Standing Agency of the Organizing Committee of the competition reported preliminary results to the Jury. |
The units have coordinated with Party committees, authorities, and socio -political organizations to propagate and mobilize a large number of people, students, and pupils to participate; many units have coordinated with their sister units to jointly develop outlines and implement entries.
After more than 2 months of implementation, the whole army had 966,528 entries from authors and groups of authors participating in many genres and different ages (the oldest was 63 years old, the youngest was 14 years old); of which there were 2,018 handwritten entries and some entries in video clips, applying information technology.
Based on the competition results, the units selected 988 high-quality works to participate in the military-level competition.
The judges and delegates visited the impressive works participating in the competition. |
After receiving entries from the units, the Standing Agency classified, developed a scoring criteria framework, scoring sheets and coordinated with relevant agencies to conduct preliminary scoring, ensuring strictness and seriousness, selecting 80 works (groups of works) of nearly 400 authors with good quality to proceed to the next round of scoring.
The Organizing Committee classified the works into 4 groups for the Jury to evaluate and announce the results: Group 1, including 10 best clusters of works, with creativity and in-depth content; Group 2, including 15 clusters of good quality works, with creative and unique perspectives; Group 3, including 25 clusters of works with good content and meeting the requirements of the competition; Group 4, including 30 clusters of works with good content and form.

The jury and delegates visited and listened to the author's representative and author group introduce their entries. |
The new point in the judging process at this contest is that for works expected to win A prize, the Jury invited representatives of authors and groups of authors to directly report and present their works.
After the preliminary results are available, the Jury will send them back to each member for monitoring and further comments (if any).
The presentation of the works by the representative of the group of authors from the Khoai Chau District Military Command (Hung Yen Provincial Military Command) made a good impression on the jury. |
After listening to the report of the Standing Agency, the members of the Jury spoke and discussed a number of contents to ensure objective and accurate assessment of the quality of the work; in addition, they researched, considered and reviewed a number of factors such as: Uniqueness, specificity of the unit, age, ethnicity, the author's enthusiasm expressed through the work (directly handwritten, drawn, self-made supporting models) to prioritize the final assessment and classification.
It is expected that, based on the evaluation results of the Jury, the Organizing Committee will consider, organize the announcement and award the competition on April 22, 2025, at the 12th Army Corps.
