Recently leaked information has revealed that Samsung will launch the super-thin smartphone Galaxy S25 Edge on April 16, receiving much attention from users.
At the Galaxy S25 launch event in January, Samsung unexpectedly “teased” the Galaxy S25 Edge model. However, the Korean technology company has not revealed the launch date of this smartphone.

However, a new report has provided information about the launch date of the Galaxy S25 Edge. Accordingly, Samsung's super-thin smartphone will be launched on April 16 with a series of valuable upgrades.
Due to the time zone difference, the event is likely to take place on April 15 in some places. Either way, Samsung seems to have decided to unveil the fourth member of the Galaxy S25 series in mid-April, if this leak is accurate. The launch event is said to be online.
The launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge will mark a major step forward for Samsung in the ultra-thin smartphone race against rival Apple, which has long been rumored to launch the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air in September. The device is rumored to be thinner than the 6.4mm S25 Edge, but will only have a single rear camera instead of the two cameras of the S25 Edge.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to go on sale in May in light blue, black, and silver. The initial production run is also said to be around 40,000 units, which is quite modest. To put that in perspective, that represents less than 1% of the company's monthly smartphone production.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is rumored to feature a 200MP main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The device will also be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and will slot between the Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
