According to SamMobile , Samsung is planning to hold a Galaxy Unpacked event to launch the Galaxy S24 in San Francisco (USA) in January 2024. San Francisco is the traditional location for Samsung to launch the new Galaxy S line every year.

Recent reports suggest that Samsung will bring back the Exynos chip to its flagship phones when it launches the Galaxy S24. Specifically, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ may use the Exynos 2400 chip in most parts of the world, while Canada, China, and the US will get the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 chip version. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is said to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 chip exclusively for Galaxy.
Speaking of the Exynos 2400. Unveiled last week at SLSI Tech Days 2023, the Exynos 2400 comes with a 70% faster CPU, AMD RDNA3-based Xclipse 940 GPU, and 14.7x faster AI processing.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to bring a number of improvements, including a titanium frame, LTPO Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays across the lineup, and upgraded cameras. The Galaxy S24 could feature a Full HD+ display, while the Galaxy S24+ could feature a Quad HD+ display. All three phones are expected to reach up to 2,400 nits of brightness, run One UI 6.1 based on Android 14, and receive at least four major Android OS updates.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Galaxy S24/S24+ could feature a 50MP main camera on the back, paired with a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. As for the higher-end Galaxy S24 Ultra, it could feature a 200MP main camera on the back, paired with a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. All three models would feature a 12MP selfie camera on the front.
Finally, the Galaxy S24 could come with a 4,000 mAh battery, while the Galaxy S24+ will have a 4,900 mAh battery and the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a 5,000 mAh battery. The Galaxy S24+/S24 Ultra will have 45W fast charging, while the Galaxy S24 will have 25W fast charging. All support 15W super fast charging and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. They could support two-way satellite communication for emergency messaging. The Ultra model will also have S Pen support.
