SABECO accompanies the Central Youth Union to support the Northern provinces to overcome the aftermath of storm Yagi

Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation (SABECO) has launched post-disaster support activities for 6 northern provinces affected by Typhoon Yagi, through cooperation with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (Central Youth Union), local agencies, and the company's media and business partners. With a total value of more than VND4.2 billion, the support program was implemented by SABECO in coordination with other parties to provide essential goods and food to people in flooded areas in Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Lao Cai, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang and Yen Bai. The estimated value of support for each province is VND650,560,000. In addition, the program also provides financial support worth VND50,000,000 to frontline forces participating in overcoming the consequences of the storm in each province.

SABECO representative presented the support board to overcome the consequences of Typhoon Yagi to the representative of the Central Youth Union. The total estimated support value is more than 4.2 billion VND for 6 provinces.

Support goods such as bottled water, food, and flashlights provided by MM Mega supermarket and Chuong Duong Beverage Company will be distributed to the people by local authorities and provincial union members. Prioritizing employee safety and business stability With 44 member companies and more than 12,000 employees in the system, SABECO is committed to ensuring the safety and health of its employees, especially in companies and factories managed by Saigon Beer Trading Company Dong Bac and Saigon Beer Trading Company Mien Bac that were directly affected by Typhoon Yagi. During the period of impact, the Executive Board together with SABECO's Trade Union and related departments are working together to: First, ensure the safety of employees and their families. In addition, assess the condition of local facilities and infrastructure. Coordinate with local agencies and emergency services. Finally, continue to supply products to businesses in need of reconstruction.

SABECO employees have also shown solidarity and joined hands towards community relief, by participating in an internal donation program organized by SABECO Union, to share with employees in affected areas.
