Saudi Arabia Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice, including a lob from about 30 metres, as Al Nassr beat Al Akhdoud 3-0 in the 14th round of the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo did not score but assisted in his last match, helping Portugal beat Iceland 2-0 in the final round of Euro 2024 qualifying.
Back at the club, the 38-year-old striker continued his brilliant form, against bottom-half opponents Al Akhdoud. In 21 games for club and country this season, he has failed to score or assist in only five.

In the 77th minute, when the home team was leading 1-0, taking advantage of a chaotic situation in the penalty area after goalkeeper Paulo Vitor's poor run, Ronaldo managed to get past two defenders of the away team and then shot from a tight angle into the goal.
Just three minutes later, from a counter-attack, Ronaldo helped Al Nassr finish off their opponents. This continued to be a classy move by the Portuguese striker when he took advantage of Vitor's run to chip the ball from nearly 30 meters away. The ball went close to the crossbar, leaving the away team's defenders unable to cover.
The opening goal of this match was scored in the 13th minute, thanks to Sami Al Naji.
The big win helped Al Nassr close the gap to just one point behind leaders Al Hilal - who played late in the round against Al-Hazm. Meanwhile, thanks to this match's double, Ronaldo continues to lead the race for the Saudi Pro League's top scorer with 15 goals in 12 matches, five more than second-placed Aleksandar Mitrovic. He also provided five assists for his teammates. In all competitions, Ronaldo has scored 24 goals for Al Nassr in 24 matches.
On November 27, Ronaldo and his teammates will host Iranian club Persepolis in the fifth round of the AFC Champions League group stage.
