The match between Ha Van Hieu and Zakhar Dzmitrychenka started at 4 PM and lasted approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, including breaks. Throughout the match, both weightlifters competed cautiously, holding back their moves.
In the seventh round, Hieu "The Giant" needed medical attention due to bleeding in his head. After being bandaged, the former SEA Games champion continued to compete for honor and the prize money of up to $10,000 . Age has taken its toll on Ha Van Hieu's physical fitness. Even so, he did not allow his opponent, who was once ranked 3rd in the world, to defeat him.

After 12 rounds, the two wrestlers were still tied, so the organizers decided to stop the match and declare a draw. Ha Van Hieu and Zakhar will split the prize money. Each wrestler will receive $5,000 in prize money, not including additional bonuses from sponsors. After the match ended, both wrestlers exchanged friendly gestures. Zakhar even lifted his opponent up to celebrate.
Ha Van Hieu (1.92 m tall, 130 kg) is a familiar name in Vietnamese wrestling, having won the national championship 15 times and four SEA Games gold medals (2009, 2011, 2019, and 2022). He is considered a legend in Vietnamese freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling.
After retiring from MMA, Hieu "the Giant" transitioned to coaching, refereeing at several prestigious MMA events, and actively creating content on social media. He attracted a large fan base thanks to his videos showcasing his strength.
Ha Van Hieu's opponent, Zakhar Dzmitrychenka (1.81 m, 80 kg), is also an experienced wrestler. He won a bronze medal at the 2018 World Classical Wrestling Championships. The Belarusian wrestler has remained undefeated in wrestling matches in Vietnam since the recent Lunar New Year in 2025.
