According to GSMArena , the realme Note 1 is expected to launch in January 2024 with a 6.67-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It will also have an under-display fingerprint scanner and a 16MP front camera.
The message shared by realme hints at a new product line
Speaking of cameras, realme will equip the Note 1 with a triple rear camera cluster with a 108 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP setup. Inside is the power of MediaTek's Dimensity 7050 chip, combined with a 5,000 mAh battery that offers 67W wired fast charging.
Based on the specifications, the realme Note 1 seems to be an improved version of the previously launched realme 11 Pro, which only had a single rear camera. As such, the realme Note 1 will aim to fill the small gap between the realme 11 Pro and 11 Pro+ in the already crowded mid-range market and give users a better balance between budget and features.
Leaked slide mentions features on realme Note 1
In 2021, Samsung abandoned the Note series to focus on the S and Z series. As a result, the Galaxy S22 Ultra appeared in early 2022 as a replacement for the Note series, where the product brought S Pen support. However, many fans of the Korean brand still feel regretful for the departure of the Note series.
If realme adopts the Note name, it could be a smartphone designed for professionals, with a built-in stylus and productivity options, but at a more attractive price point.
