Promoting Thai Nguyen Tea Culture and Tourism at the 2024 Teqball World Championship

(CLO) Within the framework of the 2024 Teqball World Championship taking place from December 3 to 8, at Nguyen Hue walking street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen province coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Museum to organize a space to experience Tea culture and promote Thai Nguyen tourism with the theme "Experience the land of Tea, rich in identity".

Teqball is a sport that combines football, sepak takraw, martial arts and table tennis. The 2024 Teqball World Championship held in Ho Chi Minh City on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the founding of Teqball has contributed to affirming Vietnamese sports in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular.

The tournament attracted 221 athletes from 95 countries and territories. Thereby, promoting the image of the country, people, and Vietnamese culture with strong national identity to international friends through festivals, political, cultural, and social events held in Vietnam and the world.

At the Space to introduce Vietnam's cultural heritages, Thai Nguyen promoted the province's potential, strengths, tourism products and services to domestic and international tourists through video clips, standees, hashtags, tourism publications (bilingual in Vietnamese - English)...

In particular, to introduce the tea culture and tea products, Thai Nguyen organized an artistic tea making performance to invite visitors to enjoy delicious cups of local tea and learn about products made from tea buds such as: Green tea peanut candy, green tea stuffed candy, green tea mung bean cake, matcha tea powder, ...

In addition, coming to the exhibition and introduction space of Thai Nguyen, visitors can also learn and look up tourism information of the province by scanning codes into the smart tourism system, promotional channels on social networking platforms and experience virtual reality tourism through the VR360 application.

During the event, the space of Thai Nguyen province attracted a large number of tourists, especially international tourists, to visit, enjoy tea and learn about tourism information of the province.
