Cold air has affected the Northeast, some places in the North Central and Northwest. The Gulf of Tonkin has strong Northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7.
The Hydrometeorological Agency forecasts that during the day and night of March 29, the cold air mass will continue to affect other areas in the North Central region, most of the Northwest region and some areas in the Central Central region. Inland, the northeast wind will be strong at level 2-3, and coastal areas at level 3-4.
The North and North Central regions are cold. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the North is generally 13-16 degrees Celsius, in some mountainous areas it is below 11 degrees Celsius; the North Central region is generally 15-18 degrees Celsius. The Hanoi area sometimes has rain and cold weather. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass is generally 14-16 degrees Celsius.
Due to the influence of cold air, on March 29, the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. On March 30-April 4, the Northern region will have rain in some places; in the Northeast region, from early morning of March 30 to April 1, there will be scattered light rain and cold weather. From April 3 onwards, the Northern region will have cold nights and mornings.
From March 29 to April 2, the North and Central Central regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
At sea, in the Gulf of Tonkin, there will be strong northeast winds at level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas, waves 2-3m high; in the northern sea area of the North East Sea, there will be strong northeast winds at level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8, rough seas, waves 3-5m high.
