Ho Chi Minh City Cultural Center has just summarized and awarded the Southern Ho Chi Minh City Don Ca Tai Tu Art Composition Camp (ĐCTT) in 2024.
With the theme of composing about Ho Chi Minh City, about the achievements in 50 years of building Ho Chi Minh City after the country's reunification, the organizing committee selected 25 works to award prizes, including 4 A prizes, 8 B prizes, 12 C prizes and 1 Ca Ra Bo prize.
Many compositions were highly appreciated, such as the 32-beat vọng cổ song "Đầu phai điếu đơn gian" (Where is it simple) by Vo Tu Uyen, the song "Thanh pho tham niem tin" (to the tune of Tay Thi) by Lam Huu Tang, the song "Vui ngay dai thang" (to the tune of "Bat man tan cong") by Dung Ho. Author Dung Ho also received the award for the best singing performance with the song "Vui hoi dung" (to the tune of Co ban)...
Deputy Director in charge of the Ho Chi Minh City Cultural Center Nguyen Thi Hoai Phuong said that the center will organize many performances of award-winning works in the near future, to spread to the people about the achievements of the creative camp.
