Basis for land clearance

After the land clearance was completely resolved, the road connecting Vo Chi Cong route to National Highway 1 at Cay Coc intersection was recently completed and opened to traffic, making residents of Ward 9 (Ha Lam town) extremely excited.

When the road was put into use, Mr. Nguyen Thuan's family opened a grocery store and refreshment shop. "The open road not only facilitates transportation, but also helps us have a new livelihood," said Mr. Thuan.

Strict land management has been focused on by Thang Binh district in recent times, especially land recovery, compensation, support and resettlement for project implementation.

Over the past 11 years, the People's Committee of Thang Binh district has reclaimed about 635 hectares of land to implement projects in the district, with key projects such as the resettlement area of ​​Binh Duong commune center (phase 2); Binh Dao bridge on National Highway 14E in Binh Trieu and Binh Dao communes; Nam Hoi An resort; the road connecting National Highway 1 (Cay Coc intersection) to the Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway intersection; renovating and upgrading National Highway 14E; Vinpearl Quang Nam resort complex in Binh Duong and Binh Minh communes; coastal urban area in Binh Duong commune, Binh Sa bridge to Binh Hai, etc.

The Standing Committee of Thang Binh District Party Committee has issued a decision to establish a Steering Committee for compensation, site clearance, support and resettlement of key projects in the district, headed by the Secretary of the District Party Committee.

Mr. Phan Cong Vy - Secretary of Thang Binh District Party Committee said that the synchronous participation of the entire political system, consistent from district to commune, combined with the dynamism and creativity of functional sectors in districts and communes are important factors for the success of the projects.

Regimes and policies in inventory, compensation pricing, support and resettlement are publicly and transparently informed so that people understand, trust and voluntarily implement them.

The district regularly organizes meetings for district and commune leaders to directly dialogue with people to resolve problems and create consensus.

Thang Binh organizes regular and periodic reports so that departments, associations and unions in the district and commune and investors and construction units can clearly understand the implementation status and resolve bottlenecks in the process of land acquisition and project implementation.

Land use planning

Mr. Vo Van Hung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Thang Binh district said that recently, the work of making land use planning (QH-KSDĐ) has been a key task in the land management of the district.

The annual preparation of land use planning and planning is carried out by the District People's Committee based on the land use targets allocated by the Provincial People's Committee and the local land use needs, basically meeting the socio-economic development, security and national defense. The annual implementation results are guaranteed to follow the planning orientation approved by competent authorities.

During the process of preparing the land use planning and planning, the People's Committee of Thang Binh district widely announced to organizations and individuals who have land use needs in the area to register. After being appraised and approved by competent authorities, the locality strictly implemented the announcement and publicization of the land use planning and planning according to regulations.

The results of the land use planning of Thang Binh district in the past include the land use planning until 2020 and the first 5-year land use plan 2011 - 2015; Land use plan for the period 2016 - 2020; Land use planning for the period 2021 - 2030.

Based on the annual land use planning approved by the Provincial People's Committee, the District People's Committee has seriously implemented land recovery, land allocation and land use purpose conversion in accordance with the approved land use planning and plan.

Land management in Thang Binh district has become systematic, effective land use has contributed significantly to socio-economic development. The shift in land use structure in Thang Binh is consistent with the shift in production, investment, and labor structure, contributing to the synchronous development of infrastructure, industry, rural agriculture, urban areas, and services, creating a reasonable step for the strong shift in economic structure.
