Podcasts are included in radio festivals for the first time

The 16th Radio Festival 2024 takes place from July 9 to July 14. With the theme 'Vietnam Radio - Diversity in Digital Transformation', the festival attracts 81 participating units with 380 works in 6 categories: Reportage; special program; interview; ethnic language radio program; radio story; Live radio program. In addition to the main award, there will be 5 other award categories including: Digital platform application; podcast; excellent staging technique; golden voice; excellent program host.

After the preliminary round held in Tuyen Quang province, the Jury selected 228 works for the final round. These are all works that are highly appreciated in terms of quality, topicality, elaborate staging and many innovations and creativity. Notably, 2024 is also the first year that the podcast category is included in the Radio Festival for awards.
