Da Nang women parade in Ao Dai to celebrate March 8

TPO - On March 3, more than 100 female cadres and members in Da Nang paraded in ao dai to celebrate the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day March 8 and the 1984th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising.

The women were radiant in their traditional Vietnamese dresses as they cycled in a parade. According to the women, group activities help people bond more closely together. From there, they can understand each other, help each other, and progress together.

The parade passed through the streets of Hoa Xuan ward, Cam Le district.

The long dress is red and honors the gentle beauty of women.

Ms. Pham Thi Hien, President of the Women's Union of Hoa Xuan Ward, shared that International Women's Day, March 8, is an occasion to honor the beauty and affirm the role of women in society, family and life.

Women in today's era not only build family happiness, but also have to strive to contribute to the homeland, together with the Vietnamese people, holding their heads high with friends around the world.

In the morning of the same day, officials and women's association members also offered incense to commemorate those who died for the Fatherland.

On this occasion, the Women's Union of Hoa Xuan Ward launched the competition program "Raising piggy banks - raising social security funds". The program will share with the difficult circumstances of women and children in the area.

Gym and aerobics clubs create confidence, connection, and improve the spiritual life of women.
