The Government requires handover of land for projects to clear capacity of Nhon Trach 3 and 4 Power Plants in April 2025.

Regarding the Nhon Trach 3 and Nhon Trach 4 Power Plant Projects, the synchronous power grid projects to release capacity for the two plants, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct the People's Committees of Nhon Trach and Long Thanh districts to urgently complete procedures, speed up site clearance compensation and hand over the entire site to the investor in April 2025 for construction implementation, ensuring the ability to release capacity for Nhon Trach 3 and Nhon Trach 4 Power Plants when they are in commercial operation. The locality is fully responsible to the Prime Minister for the delay in implementation due to problems with site clearance.

Also related to the above two power plant projects, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to direct the Vietnam Electricity Group and the Vietnam National Energy Industry Group to continue coordinating negotiations on annual contracted electricity output; agreeing to ensure that Nhon Trach 3 Power Plant will be put into operation in July 2025 and Nhon Trach 4 Power Plant will be put into operation in October 2025.

In addition, in the above announcement, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct the Vinh Cuu District People's Committee to coordinate with relevant departments and branches to urgently carry out procedures on compensation and resettlement support to implement and soon hand over the factory site of the Tri An Hydropower Plant Expansion Project and the Hieu Liem Bridge project to the investor. Ensure the progress of the factory's construction in the second quarter of 2025; ensure the completion of the construction of the bridge abutments and piers of the Hieu Liem Bridge project before the flood season of 2025.

Vietnam Electricity Group directs units to strengthen coordination with departments, branches and local authorities in the process of resolving difficulties and problems related to compensation and site clearance; complete and provide full relevant documents when requested. Strive to complete the project 3-6 months earlier than planned.
