As reported by VietNamNet, the Investigation Police Agency has completed the investigation conclusion, proposing to prosecute Mr. Trinh Van Quyet (former Chairman of FLC Group Corporation) and 20 accomplices for the crimes of Stock Market Manipulation and Fraudulent Appropriation of Property.
The Investigation Police Agency has seized more than 187 billion VND, the amount of money that Mr. Trinh Van Quyet received from the transfer of 40.59% of BAV shares; and seized 3 plots of land and assets attached to the land from Mr. Quyet in the My Dinh II New Urban Area, Hanoi. Of which, 1 plot has an area of 799.6m2, the remaining 2 plots both have an area of 199.9m2.
Regarding the defendant Trinh Thi Minh Hue (Mr. Quyet's sister, General Accountant of FLC Group Corporation), the Investigation Police Agency has seized 4 plots of land and assets attached to the land including: 158.3 square meters of land and houses in Trung Hoa-Nhan Chinh Urban Area, Hanoi; 3 plots of land in My Dinh II New Urban Area, Hanoi (of which 2 plots have an area of 200 square meters, 1 plot has an area of 125.3 square meters).
Defendant Trinh Thi Thuy Nga (Mr. Quyet's sister, Deputy General Director of BOS Securities JSC) had 2 plots of land and assets attached to the land in My Dinh II New Urban Area, Hanoi confiscated. Of which, 1 plot has an area of 193.1m2; 1 plot has an area of 165m2.
The Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency has sent an official dispatch to the Banking Inspection and Supervision Agency and the State Bank of Vietnam to review and prevent transactions (block debits) for accounts in the names of individuals, including: Trinh Van Quyet, Trinh Thi Thuy Nga, Trinh Thi Minh Hue, Huong Tran Kieu Dung (former Permanent Vice Chairman of FLC Group Corporation, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of BOS Securities Corporation) and 45 individuals who lent Ms. Hue their securities accounts/bank accounts.
The Investigation Agency also sent an official dispatch to the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities directing relevant units to temporarily suspend changes (transactions of purchase, sale, donation, pledge, mortgage, etc.) regarding assets (real estate, shares/capital contributions, stocks, etc.) in the names of Mr. Trinh Van Quyet, Ms. Trinh Thi Minh Hue, and Trinh Thi Thuy Nga.
