The initial results of the surprise inspection by the Department of Health Inspectorate showed that An Dong General Clinic under An Dong General Clinic Company Limited had the following signs of violations:

Accordingly, An Dong General Clinic specializes in organizing specialized clinics including: Surgery Clinic, Dermatology Clinic, Diagnostic Imaging Clinic and Laboratory. However, on the medical records, the clinic logo, and the website “phongkhamdakhoaandong.vn” all show “An Dong General Clinic”, which is not suitable for the type of clinic licensed by the Department of Health.

During the inspection, the professional in charge of the Dermatology clinic, the Diagnostic Imaging clinic, the Laboratory and the pharmacy were not present, even though the clinic was operating.

In addition, the medical examination and treatment records are not fully updated, the outpatient medical records are not fully recorded, and the practitioner has not registered to practice medical examination and treatment according to regulations.

At the Diagnostic Imaging Clinic, the inspection team also noted that the computer stored many ultrasound images without patient information and ultrasound order forms.

The laboratory of this clinic has not been approved by the Department of Health for its list of microbiological tests, and the company has not self-declared biosafety for the laboratory as prescribed.

On different test results, there are some urine test indicators with similar indexes.

During the working process, the Department of Health requested the Diagnostic Imaging Clinic and the Testing Room to temporarily suspend operations because there were many signs of violations in medical examination and treatment activities, not ensuring health care for patients when coming to perform services at the clinic.

The Health Department Inspectorate continues to clarify the violations of An Dong General Clinic Company Limited at the company's specialized clinics at 360 An Duong Vuong, Ward 4, District 5. At the same time, it is determined to handle them at the most severe level according to the law.

Along with that, the Department of Health will continue to publicize the inspection results of this clinic in the coming time.
