Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung visited and worked at Tien Phong North and South Industrial Parks

On the morning of March 26, Comrade Nguyen Chi Dung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister visited and worked at Bac Tien Phong Industrial Park and Nam Tien Phong Industrial Park, Quang Yen Town. Also working were Comrade Pham Duc An, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments, branches and sectors.

Bac Tien Phong Industrial Park and Nam Tien Phong Industrial Park belong to Dam Nha Mac Service Industrial Park, Quang Yen Town according to the 1/2000 scale zoning plan approved by the Provincial People's Committee.

In particular, Bac Tien Phong Industrial Park, jointly developed by Hateco Group and DEEP C, has a total area of nearly 1,200 hectares. Quang Yen Town has completed site clearance of about 480 hectares and handed over more than 413 hectares of clean land to the investor. The area leased to secondary investment projects is 199 hectares, with an occupancy rate of 61.94%.

Regarding investment in technical infrastructure, the industrial park has leveled 250 hectares, built 8.3 km of internal roads; built a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 4,500 cubic meters/day and night out of a total capacity of 15,000 cubic meters/day and night; built 630kvA and 1,500kVA transformer stations, it is expected that the 110kVA Tien Phong 1 transformer station will be completed and put into use in the first quarter of 2025.

To date, Bac Tien Phong Industrial Park has attracted 31 secondary projects, including 26 FDI projects with a total registered investment capital of more than 1.3 billion USD and 5 domestic projects with a total investment capital of more than 38,000 billion VND.

For the Nam Tien Phong Industrial Park project, more than 368 hectares of land has been cleared, reaching over 99% of the total area of the industrial park under the management of Quang Ninh province. The project has leveled an area of 60 hectares and completed a number of technical items. Currently, the industrial park has attracted 1 secondary FDI project with a total registered investment of 65.3 million USD. This project is in the infrastructure investment implementation phase.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Pham Duc An, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: Quang Ninh has been implementing synchronous solutions to concretize the Party's policy on developing the private economy into an important economic driving force. He emphasized that in the coming time, the province will continue to effectively implement site clearance to speed up the progress of the Bac Tien Phong Industrial Park and Nam Tien Phong Industrial Park projects; as well as commit to accompany, support, and remove difficulties for investors to quickly implement infrastructure work and attract investment in industrial parks.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung highly appreciated the determination of Quang Ninh province and the investor in implementing the projects of the industrial parks: Bac Tien Phong and Nam Tien Phong in the past time. The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that in the coming time, Quang Ninh province continue to pay attention to coordinating with enterprises, removing difficulties, and completing investment steps in the industrial parks.

In addition, investors focus on completing the synchronous items and initial investment steps of the project to ensure the committed progress. At the same time, investors continue to promote the call for investment in industrial parks. In particular, focusing on the following factors: Developing ecological industry, protecting the environment; investing in high technology; using land economically and effectively; ... to meet development requirements.
