On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory on May 7 (1954 - 2024), this morning, April 23, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Chien Thang visited and expressed gratitude to soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers who participated in the fight and served in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign and are currently living in Quang Tri town, including: Mr. Le Cao Dai (95 years old), in Tan My village; Mr. Ngo Nham (94 years old), in Tan Phuoc village; Mr. Dinh Ngoc Trac (96 years old), in Nhu Le village (Hai Le commune) and Mr. Vo Van Duong (95 years old), in Quarter 8, Ward 3.

At the places visited, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Chien Thang kindly asked about the health and economic conditions of the families. At the same time, he expressed his gratitude and deep appreciation for the important contributions of the soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers who participated in the battle and served in the battle, contributing to the Dien Bien Phu Victory - the greatest victory of the Vietnamese army and people in the resistance war against French colonialism.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Chien Thang sent best wishes to the soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers who participated in the fight and served in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.
