At the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Giang said that in the socio-economic development strategy for the period 2021 - 2025; Lao Cai sets the goal of becoming a fairly developed province of the country by 2030, and by 2045 it will become a developed province of the country. Lao Cai province is making efforts to soon build Lao Cai city into a class I urban area; Sa Pa into an international tourist area; Lao Cai Border Gate Economic Zone into a logistics center of the country and Lao Cai into a developed province of the Northern Midlands and Mountains region according to the orientation of the Central and Government. Along with implementing socio-economic development goals, Lao Cai province pays special attention to the two current trends of digital transformation and green transformation; this trend is opening up great opportunities, creating strong motivation for the business community to transform to a sustainable business model.

With the consistent viewpoint of "Businesses prosper, Lao Cai develops", Lao Cai province always strongly supports enterprises to invest and do business; always puts the interests of investors first, encourages investors and enterprises with advanced technology, bringing a green, clean and modern production and business environment. In recent times, Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee together with all levels, sectors, localities of the province and the Construction Group Pacific has actively worked together to research the development orientation of the Sa Pa airport project and research projects to call for investment in Lao Cai province in the fields of infrastructure and connecting traffic .

Lao Cai commits to creating the most favorable investment environment to accompany investors in the process of implementing projects. In addition to the general provisions of current laws, depending on the scale and nature of each project, based on the consideration of the proposals of investors, the province will have special support mechanisms for large projects, which play an important role in promoting the process of economic restructuring and creating a breakthrough in the socio-economic development of the province and the region.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Ly Giai Hanh, General Director of Southeast Asia Pacific Construction Group, said that the Group was established in 1986; focusing mainly on the field of investment in transport infrastructure construction.
