Overall, the global pepper market is stable, with minor fluctuations in Indonesia and Malaysia possibly due to short-term supply-demand adjustments. However, with the USD/VND exchange rate slightly decreasing (VND 25,370, down VND 20 according to previous data), the converted pepper price in Vietnam remains high, creating favorable conditions for exports in the coming time. Farmers need to closely monitor weather factors and global demand to have appropriate sales strategies.

News, pepper price forecast tomorrow 3/23/2025 remains stable

World pepper prices tomorrow, March 23, 2025, are forecast to remain stable, although there are still slight fluctuations between countries. According to information from the International Pepper Community (IPC), the Indonesian pepper market has slightly decreased compared to the previous session, with Lampung black pepper prices at 7,267 USD/ton and Muntok white pepper prices at 10,207 USD/ton.

The Malaysian market remained stable with ASTA black pepper prices at USD 9,900/ton and ASTA white pepper prices at USD 12,400/ton. Brazilian pepper prices, after a slight increase earlier, stabilized at USD 7,000/ton.

For the Vietnamese market, pepper export prices increased slightly, with the price of 500 g/l black pepper reaching 7,100 USD/ton and 550 g/l reaching 7,300 USD/ton. The price of white pepper also remained at 10,100 USD/ton.

Regarding domestic pepper prices, it is expected to remain at 159,000 - 160,000 VND/kg, with some localities possibly decreasing slightly due to pressure from supply and export activities that have not yet broken through strongly. However, pepper prices are unlikely to decrease sharply in March due to reduced harvest output and increased demand from major markets such as the US and India.
