Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dang Xuan Phuong attended the Party cell meeting of Quang Ninh Museum.

On the morning of September 4, Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation attended the regular Party cell meeting in September 2024 at the Quang Ninh Museum Party Cell. Also attending was Comrade Nguyen Thi Vinh, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies.

Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, spoke at the Party cell meeting.

The Quang Ninh Museum Party Cell currently has 42 party members. In August 2024, the Party Cell focused on leading party members, officials, and employees of the unit to promote initiative and creativity; innovate working methods, and successfully complete assigned tasks, including opening, welcoming, and serving visitors to the Museum. In the first 8 months of 2024, the Museum welcomed over 657,000 visitors, an increase of 4.8% over the same period in 2023.

The work of displaying, researching, documenting, collecting artifacts, sites, relics, cultural heritages, etc. has been effectively carried out, in line with the targets set out in Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU, dated October 30, 2023 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on "building and promoting cultural values, human strength of Quang Ninh to become an endogenous resource, a driving force for rapid and sustainable development".

Since the beginning of the year, the Party Cell has organized the admission of 2 people to the Party; continued to assign Party members to guide 2 people to be admitted to the Party... The ideological situation of Party members, cadres, civil servants, and workers is stable, they trust the leadership of the Party; and they comply well with the laws of the State.

At the meeting, Party members of the Party cell participated in discussions and expressed many opinions focusing on the following contents: Professional training; upgrading infrastructure and equipment; expanding exhibition space; innovating Party cell activities, increasing thematic meetings...

Recognizing and praising the achievements of the Quang Ninh Museum Party Cell in the past time, comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, suggested that in the coming time, the Party Cell continue to focus on directing the implementation of resolutions of the Central Committee, the province and the Department of Culture and Sports. In particular, the process of building the Party Cell into a grassroots Party Committee directly under the Party Committee of the Department of Culture and Sports requires careful research and calculation of the quantity and quality of the Party Cell. In particular, the Party Cell needs to focus on improving the responsibility of Party members, the fighting strength of the Party organization; and pay attention to training and developing Party members in terms of quality.

In professional work, the Party cell continues to effectively direct the implementation of the plan to modernize activities; innovate exhibition spaces. In particular, it highlights and promotes traditions and cultural values in the province through historical periods.

The work of collecting, researching, and documenting tangible and intangible cultural values needs to be carried out in a scientific, rigorous, and systematic manner to promote the development of the cultural industry in the province. He also requested the Provincial Museum to research and propose typical products about the nature, culture, and people of Quang Ninh to promote and introduce to domestic and international friends and tourists.
