" The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful experience of my life so far, and I'm thrilled to share that it's coming to the big screen soon. The period costumes, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing will be on film," said Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift's move is a welcome sign for movie theater chains like AMC Entertainment, Cineplex, and Cinemark, helping to fill the void left by the ongoing Hollywood actors' and writers' strikes that have delayed many films from hitting theaters.

Warner Bros., for example, has postponed the release of its highly anticipated Dune: Part Two from November until next spring because high-profile actors will not be promoting the sci-fi sequel due to a strike.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour is directed by Sam Wrench, who has worked with top singers/songwriters including Brandi Carlile ( In the Canyon Haze Live ), Billie Eillish ( Billie Eilish Live at the O2 ), Lizzo ( Lizzo: Live in Concert ), BTS ( BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage )...

The Eras Tour has a projected gross of $2.2 billion in North American ticket sales alone, hundreds of millions of streams, and Taylor Swift's music listenership has spiked nearly 80% just weeks after the tour began.

Tickets to see Taylor Swift's documentary cost $19.89 per adult and $13.13 per child.
