Developing biomass corn material area in Van Ho

On April 2, leaders of Van Ho district worked with leaders and people of 3 communes: To Mua, Suoi Bang, Chieng Khoa on developing biomass corn material areas to serve Moc Chau Dairy Cow Breeding Joint Stock Company.

To provide food for the herd of over 25,000 dairy cows, Moc Chau Dairy Cow Breeding Joint Stock Company has coordinated with the contacts in Moc Chau town and Van Ho district to develop biomass corn growing areas associated with building a sustainable product consumption chain for dairy cows to ensure the economy and life of corn growers and dairy farmers. According to initial statistics in 03 communes, biomass corn production brings higher income efficiency than corn grain production if organized and invested appropriately.

In the coming time, to grow biomass corn effectively, the leaders of Van Ho district proposed that the Department of Agriculture & Environment, the District Agricultural Service Center coordinate with Moc Chau Dairy Cow Breeding Joint Stock Company to send staff to guide people on how to care for and organize the harvest. Send technical staff to closely follow the area, agree to sign and implement the Contract for linking production and consumption of biomass corn products in 2025 in the district with the Biomass Corn Growing Cooperatives. Have a plan to control the purchase price to ensure competitiveness and fairness for households participating in the chain .
