This afternoon (December 16), Thai Binh Provincial Police informed that the Traffic Police Department had just discovered and detained two cars transporting more than 2 tons of goods without invoices or documents proving their origin.

Accordingly, at 1:30 p.m. on December 15, on National Highway 39, a working group of the Traffic Police Department inspected a truck with license plate 17C - 19737 driven by driver HDS (born in 1980, residing in Lien Giang commune, Dong Hung district, Thai Binh province) transporting 43 bags of various types of clothes weighing 710 kg; 19 rolls of fabric weighing 706 kg.

On the same day, on provincial road 396B, during the inspection of a pickup truck with license plate 14D - 016.76 driven by driver TVB (born in 1976, residing in Hoa An commune, Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province), another working group of the Traffic Police Department discovered that the vehicle was transporting over 40 bags of various types of clothes weighing 855kg.

At the time of inspection, all goods in the two vehicles above did not have invoices or documents proving their origin.

The Traffic Police Department has handed over all of the above goods to the Provincial Market Management Department for handling according to its authority.
