Attending the ceremony were Mr. Cao Huy Bao - General Director of AVC, members of the Board of Directors, Trade Union, leaders of units and more than 50 officers, employees and workers of AVC.

At the launching ceremony, Mr. Ngo Xuan The - Deputy General Director of AVC reported on the implementation results of the resolution of the AVC Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term and the goals and directions for the 2025 - 2030 term; production and business plan for 2025.

Next, Mr. Doan Ngoc Nam - Chairman of AVC Trade Union launched the movement "Competition to complete the overhaul of Unit H1, minor overhaul of Unit H2 - A Vuong Hydropower Plant" throughout the company, with the goal of completing the repair task of 2 units ensuring quality, progress and environmental safety to welcome the Party congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term.

According to the plan, minor renovation of unit H2 will start on March 28, 2025 and be completed before May 8, 2025; overhaul of unit H1 will start on April 10, 2025 and be completed before May 9, 2025.

AVC has completed the implementation procedures, agreed on the construction safety plan, coordination process, progress, personnel, etc. Materials and equipment have also been purchased according to regulations, ready to meet the repair work according to the proposed plan.

The Company has established a Steering Committee for overhaul of Unit H1 and minor overhaul of Unit H2, a Working Group, a Basic Acceptance Council, a Basic Acceptance Subcommittee, and a Council for acceptance and recovery of overhauled materials and equipment to ensure the implementation, supervision, evaluation and acceptance of the overhaul work.

The emulation launching ceremony demonstrated the high determination of the leadership, staff, workers and employees of AVC. Thereby ensuring the completion of quality and progress according to the set plan, contributing significantly to the readiness to run generators to supply electricity to the national grid system, especially during the peak months of the dry season in 2025 approaching.
