The contest is held nationwide, in the form of an online quiz. The online contest lasts for 6 months (starting from 10:00 on November 22, 2023 to 24:00 on May 22, 2024). Individuals who are Vietnamese citizens can participate in the Quiz on Environmental Protection.
The contest is held on the website cuocthi.moitruong.net.vn of the Electronic Magazine Environment and Life. The contest results are announced weekly on the Electronic Magazine Environment and Life - moitruong.net.vn and the website cuocthi.moitruong.net.vn.

The test is designed with a structure of 5 questions in the form of objective multiple choice, choose 1 correct answer from 3 or 4 or 5 given answers, the time to complete the test is 7 minutes. Each week there will be 4 different sets of questions, without overlap. The content of the sets of questions focuses on aspects such as: Current Law on Environmental Protection; Current Law on Water Resources; 2015 Penal Code, amended and supplemented in 2017; Resolution of the Party on environmental protection; Legal documents related to environmental protection...
Speaking at the ceremony, journalist Nguyen Van Toan - Editor-in-Chief of Environment and Life Magazine said that the process of socio-economic development has revealed many shortcomings and created great pressure on the environment, ecosystems and biodiversity of the country. The situation of environmental pollution continues to be complicated, with many hot spots, and environmental quality in many places has declined sharply.

Contestants access the website https://moitruong.net.vn, then choose to log in with zalo account, facebook or email address.
Contestants take the following steps to enter the Contest:
Step 1: Contestants access the contest link https://cuocthi.moitruong.net.vn. Or access the banner of the Online Quiz Contest to learn about Environmental Protection on the homepage of the Electronic Magazine Environment and Life: https://moitruong.net.vn.
Step 2: At the Contest interface, the contestant selects “Register”, then proceeds to register contestant information, filling in complete information: Full name, year of birth, phone number (to contact when awarding prizes), work unit, or write down the administrative address of the place of residence).
Step 3: Candidates select “Start test” and proceed to answer the test questions.
Step 4: Complete the test and click “Finish”
According to the Organizing Committee of the Online Quiz Contest on Learning about Environmental Protection, the total prize is up to 120,000,000 VND.
