On the afternoon of December 11, a representative of Gia Lai Power Company said that with 10 times participating in the program "EVN Pink Week", the company has actively promoted and called on all employees to increase the number of volunteers to donate blood every year. In the recent program "EVN Pink Week 10", the enthusiastic hearts and kind hearts of the company's employees actively contributed 167 units of blood to the blood banks of provincial hospitals.

“The 10th EVN Red Week” was held centrally from December 2 to December 8, 2024. At PC Gia Lai, the program was held on Friday, December 6, 2024, attracting nearly 200 employees to register to participate in humanitarian blood donation.
With the message of “responsibility and affection”, this program is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam Electricity Industry (December 21, 1954 - December 21, 2024). The program is deeply humane, aiming to demonstrate the spirit of sharing and mutual support in the community and contribute to saving the lives of patients in need of blood.

Although he is only about 6 years away from retirement age, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quang, a driver at the Company's Office, is always ready to share and inspire the next generation. Mr. Quang's son, Mr. Nguyen Tran Huu Duy (born in 1993), currently working at Chu Prong Power Company, also followed his father's example to participate in this voluntary blood donation campaign.
Participating in annual humanitarian blood donation campaigns, Mr. Quang said: “ For me, donating blood is a noble act that I am very proud of. Having participated in blood donation campaigns organized by the company for 10 years, I see more and more colleagues participating in this meaningful program. Donating blood is a source of pride because I am a healthy person and contribute safe drops of blood, reducing the risk of anemia in emergency care for patients. I hope I will always be in good health to continue donating blood in the future.”

As one of the members who regularly participates in annual voluntary blood donation campaigns, Mr. Vo Thanh Dat (born in 1990) - a worker of the Hot Electricity Repair Team shared the reason for his blood donation journey: “More than 10 years ago, my grandfather was seriously ill and needed to receive platelets. Finding a suitable platelet donor at that time was very difficult, and due to his poor health, my grandfather passed away in the hospital. In 2015, I started my blood donation journey until now.”
With 26 blood donations, Dat is one of 50 individuals in the province who received a certificate of merit from the Gia Lai Provincial Blood Donation Steering Committee. Not only actively participating in voluntary blood donations organized by the company and the province, Dat also regularly encourages relatives, friends and colleagues to donate blood.
The humanitarian blood donation activity is held annually at Gia Lai Power Company with the aim of encouraging officers, employees and workers to participate in community activities, especially blood donation to save lives. Each unit of donated blood can save the lives of many patients in critical conditions, especially those in traffic accidents, cancer patients or those undergoing surgery requiring blood transfusion. Through the program, Gia Lai Power Company wishes to contribute to the blood bank, helping to ensure blood reserves for hospitals in the province.
