The OpenInfra Days 2023 event in Vietnam has the theme “Empowering the Future through Open Infrastructure, Cloud & AI”. This is a forum connecting managers, architects, principal engineers, and programmers to promote the use of open source infrastructure and applications.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Vu The Binh - Vice President, General Secretary of VIA said that the OpenInfra Days Vietnam event started in 2018 in response to the international OpenInfra Days event organized by the community of open technology experts in many countries around the world.
Internationally, the Open Infrastructure Foundation, a non-governmental organization, has more than 110,000 members from 187 countries around the world and is the largest organization that brings together open source experts worldwide. The Open Infrastructure Foundation's famous product is OpenStack, an open source platform developed in 2010 to build infrastructure on cloud computing technology.
In Vietnam, the application of Openstack is still growing strongly, contributing significantly to the construction of information technology infrastructure. Most of the companies applying OpenStack today are concentrated in large enterprises or operating in the field of telecommunications technology.
It can be seen that the explosion of new technologies for open infrastructure is being developed every day and shared with the community for free. This helps businesses to access and use new technologies quickly and easily, opening up the possibility of deep connectivity in a constantly changing digital world.
The Organizing Committee expects that this year's OpenInfra Days Vietnam will create a technological playground that is useful for users and participants in developing products related to open infrastructure, while creating sustainable connections and bonds between users, developers, and companies that trade and develop infrastructure and software products on open source platforms.
In addition, the event is not only an opportunity for attendees to access the latest technology products and solutions on OpenStack, Private Cloud, virtual servers, data storage solutions and network security technology. The event is also an opportunity to connect technology investment, create opportunities for direct exchange, knowledge sharing, cooperation and investment search for businesses as well as attendees.
