Mr. Vu Quyet Tien holds the position of Deputy Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee

Pursuant to Document No. 14015-CV/VPTW dated March 27, 2025 of the Central Party Office announcing the direction of the Central Party Secretariat on agreeing to introduce Mr. Vu Quyet Tien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Ha Long City Party Committee to be elected as Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025; at the conference, the Provincial Party Standing Committee submitted to the Provincial Party Executive Committee for consideration and election to the position of Deputy Secretary of the XV Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025, for Mr. Vu Quyet Tien according to regulations.

The Provincial Party Executive Committee conducted a vote, and Mr. Vu Quyet Tien was elected as Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, with an absolute vote of confidence.

Also at the conference, the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee discussed and approved the plan to rearrange commune-level administrative units. All opinions were basically in agreement with the plan that the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee unanimously submitted to the Executive Committee; at the same time, analyzed and clarified the potential and development advantages of commune-level administrative units after the rearrangement.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Vu Dai Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee affirmed that the absolute voting rate showed the high spirit of solidarity and unanimity of the Standing Committee, the Party Executive Committee and the key cadres of the province.

The Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee hopes that Mr. Vu Quyet Tien, in his new position, will continue to promote his qualities and intelligence, together with the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee, to excellently complete the assigned tasks, contributing to the overall development of the province.

Also at the Conference, the Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the Project of not organizing district-level and merging commune-level administrative units in the province was systematically and scientifically developed based on the opinions of sectors and localities. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee also discussed and gave detailed opinions on this content.

The Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee assigned the advisory agencies to receive comments and complete the project to submit to the Central Government. During the implementation process, it is necessary to consult the Provincial Steering Committee to carefully consider and weigh the natural conditions, socio-economic conditions, historical and cultural traditions during the research and completion of the plan... Pay attention to the criteria and standards, the naming of communes and the location of the headquarters must closely follow the Central Government's direction.

At the same time, assign relevant agencies to research and develop criteria and standards for commune-level cadres as a basis for arranging and assigning cadres after merging commune-level administrative units to ensure the building of a cadre team with sufficient capacity, qualities, and prestige to meet task requirements.
