Previously, the press reported that according to the report of Chu Se District Medical Center, at 6:00 p.m. on March 31, there were 3 patients admitted to Chu Se District Medical Center, including: Hoang Van K. (born in 1967, residing in IaKo commune, Chu Se), Nguyen Van T. (born in 1976, residing in Ia Pal commune, Chu Se) and Ho Van Ph. (born in 1984, residing in Chu Se town, Chu Se district).
All three patients were received by nurse Cao Thi Lieu according to regulations. She then measured vital signs, temperature, blood pressure, made a preliminary assessment of their condition, arranged beds, and reported to the doctor.
Receiving information from nurse Lieu, Dr. Nguyen Thi Diem Hang assessed and classified the patients and found that patient Hoang Van K. had respiratory failure and needed to be given priority for emergency treatment.
After giving first aid to Mr. K., Dr. Hang continued to examine patient Nguyen Van T. At this time, Mr. T. smelled strongly of alcohol and was in pain. Dr. Hang patted Mr. T.'s leg to remind him to coordinate the examination position.
While Dr. Hang was examining patient T., a relative of patient Ho Van Ph. (a young man wearing black pants and a white T-shirt) lying in the bed next to him asked Dr. Hang, "Why is the patient in pain and pounding so hard?", Dr. Hang immediately replied, "I used very little force."
After that, Dr. Hang continued to examine patient T, while patient Ho Van Ph.'s family threatened Dr. Hang: "I'm sick of you. I dare you to leave this hospital. Do you know who I am?...". Not stopping there, this person continued to punch Dr. Hang in the face and head.
Suddenly beaten, Dr. Hang called nurse Cao Thi Lieu and security guard to help and stop him. Next, the nurse and security guard asked the family of patient Ho Van Ph. why he beat the doctor. The patient replied, "I beat him because I wanted to" and then left.
