Mr. Pham Trieu re-elected Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province

On August 16, the 9th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province, term 2024-2029, took place.

Ms. To Thi Bich Chau - Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front attended, along with 320 official delegates and 120 invited delegates.

Speaking at the Congress, Ms. To Thi Bich Chau, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, praised the results that Lam Dong province has achieved in the past 5 years. The people of all ethnic groups in Lam Dong province have promoted the spirit of great solidarity, joined hands and united with the Party Committee and the government to promote advantages, overcome difficulties, and successfully carry out the political tasks of the province.

In 2023, the province's average GRDP growth rate will reach 7.36%; per capita income will reach more than 85.6 million VND; multidimensional poverty rate will decrease by 2.05%, equivalent to a decrease of nearly 6,370 households; infrastructure will be invested in construction and upgraded; urban and rural areas will have many improvements; the fields of culture, society, health, education, and health care will be increasingly better. Lam Dong is considered a leading locality in developing high-tech agriculture in the country, an attractive tourist - service and agricultural tourism destination, welcoming over 8.6 million visitors in 2023, with revenue reaching over 15,000 billion VND. In that common achievement, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province and its member organizations have made important contributions, promoting the strength of national solidarity, implementing democracy, participating in building a strong Party and government, mobilizing the people to agree to carry out the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, building a stable and comprehensively developed province.

Ms. To Thi Bich Chau, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, gave a directive speech.

Attending the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc, Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, suggested: after the Congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels should promote the role and position of the Innovation Front, improve the quality of content and methods of operation to increasingly promote the great solidarity of all ethnic groups. In particular, deploy with focus, key points and effectively carry out campaigns and patriotic emulation movements such as: the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", the emulation movement "Solidarity, creativity, improving productivity, quality, efficiency, international integration"; the movement "Repaying gratitude" and activities to care for and help the poor; building a model "Typical and exemplary residential area"...

Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Thai Hoc presented a banner from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee at the Congress with the six words "Democracy - Solidarity - Development".

At the Congress, Mr. Pham Trieu, Provincial Party Committee member, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, term VIII - was re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, term IX, term 2024-2029.

Mr. Pham Trieu was re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, term IX, 2024 - 2029.

Mr. Pham Trieu, 57 years old, from Thua Thien - Hue province, has a degree in construction engineering and a master's degree in agricultural economics.

Previously, Mr. Trieu was Chairman of Lac Duong District People's Committee, Secretary of Lac Duong District Party Committee, Provincial Party Committee member, Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, term VIII, 2019 - 2024.
