Mr. Le Dinh Cuong was re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Lam district.

It is known that in the past term, the Front and its member organizations of Cam Lam district have focused on innovating the content and methods of operation to be increasingly specific and practical; propaganda, mobilization, and gathering of people from all walks of life have been improved, consolidating trust and expanding the great national unity bloc, enhancing social consensus.

The implementation of patriotic emulation movements and campaigns has always been of interest, attracting a large number of people from all walks of life to respond and participate through the construction of self-management models such as: Environmental protection residential areas, security lights, green energy routes... people voluntarily donated 62,008m2 of land, 1,700 working days and 860 million VND to build roads and irrigation canals. The work of mobilizing, caring for and helping the poor and people in difficult circumstances continues to be actively directed and effectively implemented by the Front and its member organizations.

Over the past 5 years, the Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Lam district has mobilized and received the "Fund for the Poor" with a total amount of more than 7.3 billion VND; of which, the district level mobilized more than 1.8 billion VND, and received more than 3.5 billion VND from the Provincial Fatherland Front. From the above amount, the Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Lam district supported the construction of 52 new Great Solidarity houses with an amount of more than 2.9 billion VND and spent more than 3.67 billion VND to support means of livelihood and capital for poor and near-poor households.

In addition, the Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Lam district mobilized and received a total amount of nearly 3.4 billion VND to help people overcome damage caused by natural disasters and the Covid-19 pandemic. Activities of supervision, social criticism, and suggestions for Party and government building were focused on and implemented closely, practically, and effectively.

In the 2024 - 2029 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Lam district and its local member organizations will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in a practical and effective manner, promote propaganda, mobilization, and gathering of people, promote the spirit of self-management and creativity of the people, improve the quality and effectiveness of supervision and social criticism activities, participate in Party building and government building, perform well the role of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people, strengthen and consolidate the great solidarity bloc of the people in the locality, contributing to the development of Cam Lam district.

The Fatherland Front from district to commune level strives to mobilize and support the construction and repair of at least 50 Great Solidarity houses for poor households and policy families facing many housing difficulties by the end of the term, and to preside over the organization of at least 2 thematic supervision sessions.

The congress elected 57 delegates to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Lam district for the 2024-2029 term and sent a delegation to attend the Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front delegates of Khanh Hoa province. Mr. Le Dinh Cuong was re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Lam district for the 2024-2029 term.
