Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh attended the Great Unity Day of Phong Ap village (Khanh Hoa)

On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024), on the afternoon of November 16, Party Central Committee member and Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh attended and celebrated the National Great Unity Day at the residential area of ​​Phong Ap village, Ninh Binh commune, Ninh Hoa town (Khanh Hoa province).

Attending the festival were Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, Ms. Tran Thu Mai, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province and leaders of departments and branches.

Phong Ap village currently has 540 households with 2,064 people. Over the years, the Phong Ap village residential area Front Committee and local people have strongly promoted the precious tradition of national solidarity; been diligent and creative in production and labor; built a cultural life, promoted democracy, participated in building a strong Party and government, contributing to the successful implementation of the local socio-economic development task.

Up to now, Phong Ap village has become a cultural residential area with 98.8% of cultural families, contributing to Ninh Binh commune achieving the status of an advanced new rural commune by 2024. Economic life in the village is stable, increasingly developing, there are no dilapidated houses, poverty reduction work is sustainable, there are no cases of re-poverty.

Ms. Tran Thu Mai, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province, presented gifts to households in Phong Ap village at the Great Solidarity Festival.

Speaking at the Festival, Minister Nguyen Hai Ninh highly appreciated the contributions of the Fatherland Front at all levels of Khanh Hoa province, the Front Work Committee of Phong Ap residential area and local people in propagating and strongly promoting the precious tradition of national solidarity.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh emphasized that in the coming time, he requested the Residential Area Front Work Committee to proactively do a good job of advising local Party committees and authorities in leading, directing and coordinating the effective implementation of the Front's activities; do a good job of mobilizing people to promote village solidarity, practice a civilized lifestyle; listen to and join hands to resolve the legitimate aspirations and pressing issues of the people; pay attention to investing in education, health care, mobilizing the construction of self-management models, maintaining local security and order, and protecting the environment.
