Samsung has significantly delayed the release of the stable One UI 7 and is facing backlash from Galaxy users. It has become customary for Galaxy devices to release security updates, with betas for One UI typically rolling out early in the fourth quarter of each year. However, One UI 7 is not doing so: Samsung has confirmed that the update won't be released before 2025.
And recently, in Samsung's blog announcement: from April 7, Galaxy S24 series, Z Flip6 and Z Fold6 will officially receive this update.
Then, in the following weeks, Galaxy devices that will receive the update include: Galaxy S23 series; Galaxy S24 FE; Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Z Fold5; Galaxy Tab S9 series; Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.
Most of the above devices have already received the One UI 7.0 beta update in some countries where the One UI 7.0 beta program is rolling out, while others may receive it in the coming days.
One UI 7 is the South Korean company's latest major software update, and it comes with a redesign of Samsung's interface on Android.
