Ocean City – a 1-year journey to affirm its position on the Northern tourism map

1 year of record-making for 2 "giants" Vinhomes and Vincom Retail

The Grand World entertainment universe has just been launched for 1 year. Looking back at 365 days of the year, the success of this super utility has helped Ocean City maintain its position as a leading tourist destination, attracting domestic and international tourists. The first record was set for The Grand Voyage – a live show combining 3D Mapping technology on the largest boat stage in Asia with 365 days of non-stop performance. In addition, there are 50 brilliant fireworks displays every weekend night, exploding emotions for thousands of visitors at Grand World.

A series of blockbuster events followed, such as the launch of K-Town, Korea Travel Festa, Sowing Goodwill, Vincom 20, Revive Water Run 2024, the concert “Anh trai vu ngan cong gai”… have kept Grand World always packed with people with a liveliness comparable to the world’s leading festival capitals. With 365 festival days throughout the year, Ocean City welcomes an impressive number of visitors up to 160,000 per day – a dream number even for famous beach destinations.

In addition to the series of festivals marking Vincom Retail, the giant magnet attracting millions of tourists to Ocean City, there is also the One-Stop Shoppertainment model developed by Vincom Retail with commercial zones and hundreds of booths with diverse products and services, bringing an ideal shopping and entertainment experience. By the end of November 2024, Grand World with more than 600 commercial shops welcomed more than 11 million visitors, of which K-Town recorded more than 4 million, the "newcomer" Little Hong Kong also attracted nearly 3 million visitors.

Ocean City on the journey to open up to the world

At Ocean City, after a series of events to welcome Christmas, Vinhomes and Vincom Retail continue to join hands to prepare to treat visitors with sumptuous "feasts". The "appetizer" starts with The Glamorous Countdown 2025 - New Year's Eve party with the participation of stars such as Vu Cat Tuong, Dalab, Tran Ngoc Anh and DJ Garztik.

Immediately after that, closing a brilliant year of Giap Thin and marking a new milestone on the journey to reach the world, Vinhomes continues to bring to the East of Hanoi the Ocean International Lantern Festival. The event will make Ocean City the most attractive Tet and Spring destination in the North when displaying giant lantern models on a nearly 2km long light path. Along with that is the leading Spring Festival in Vietnam, lasting 58 days, from January 18 to March 16, 2025 with endless fun and entertainment experiences.

Notably, the Ocean City Spring Festival will witness the return of the once-famous Giang Vo Spring Fair with a special edition of “4,000-year Tet, Tet of 5 kingdoms”. Not only recreating the quintessence of Vietnamese Tet culture from the past to the present, the Ocean City Spring Festival also offers visitors a “1-0-2” opportunity to explore and experience unique Tet cultures from all over the world, such as China, Japan, Korea, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Thailand, etc.
