Due to the influence of the El Nino phenomenon, at the beginning of this summer, many places across the country suffered from drought and record heat.
Some artillery shells in the lower Da River
In recent days, the Da River flowing through Hoa Binh City has dried up, the water level in many areas has dropped sharply, revealing sand and gravel banks along the shore, making it difficult for boats to move.
The water level dropped so much that some people walked along the riverbed to collect things. Some people even discovered some artillery shells.
This information was confirmed by the leader of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh City. Accordingly, the leader of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh City said that it is likely that these artillery shells are leftover from the war. The artillery shells discovered by people are mainly artillery shells and 80mm mortar shells in the lower reaches of the Da River.
"All the artillery shells discovered by the people were handed over to the authorities and collected and preserved by the Military Command of Hoa Binh City for destruction according to regulations," said the leader.
The leader of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh City added that the city's police and military forces also issued warnings to people about dangerous areas.
