On the afternoon of December 5, Mr. Le Van Thanh - father of female student LVGN, residing in Thanh Son village, Trung Chinh commune, Nong Cong district (Thanh Hoa province) - said that the family had just received a notice from Nong Cong district police about the results of the examination of injuries on N.'s body, after N. was beaten.
Pursuant to the forensic conclusion No. 7977 (dated November 22, 2024) of the Institute of Criminal Science, Ministry of Public Security on bodily injury in the case of "intentional infliction of injury", which occurred on October 5, 2024 in Thai Son village, Tan Phuc commune, Nong Cong district.
The total percentage of LVGN's body damage at the time of assessment was 23%.
Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online on the afternoon of December 5, Mr. Le Van Thanh said: “It has been 2 months since my daughter was beaten by a group of students. Her health is still weak, her neck must be immobilized and she cannot walk normally yet. All of her activities must be supported by her parents.”
Mr. Le Van Thanh added that because N.'s health is still very weak, he had to take a year off from school. The family has just submitted a request to the principal of Nong Cong 2 High School to reserve N.'s academic results.
Previously, Tuoi Tre Online reported the case of female student LVGN, 16 years old, student of class 11A6 at Nong Cong 2 High School, who was brutally beaten by a group of students, causing a broken cervical vertebrae and requiring emergency hospitalization.
Due to serious injuries, this female student had to be transferred to Viet Duc Hospital for treatment. After a period of treatment at the hospital, female student N. was taken home by her family for further monitoring and physical therapy.
Nong Cong district police are continuing to investigate the case.
