Ninh Thuan strives to earn 4,000 billion VND from tourism by 2025

(Fatherland) - In 2025, Ninh Thuan will continue to develop tourism based on existing advantages, renewing many tourism products to increase the number of international visitors.

The above orientation was stated by Mr. Nguyen Long Bien - Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, at the conference summarizing Ninh Thuan tourism industry in 2024, taking place on the afternoon of January 8.

Last year, the total number of visitors and vacationers in Ninh Thuan reached more than 3.4 million, including about 117 thousand international visitors. Total revenue from tourism activities is estimated at 3,900 billion VND.

According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Vu - Chairman of Ninh Thuan Tourism Association, the above results come from the province's tourism industry implementing many tourism promotion activities, promoting the image of local tourism to domestic and foreign friends. In particular, tourism businesses have been facilitated to connect, develop, expand international cooperation, reaching many agreements with partners in major tourist markets such as China, Korea and India.

Domestically, Ninh Thuan tourism industry also has many outstanding activities, organizing and participating in tourism events in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Can Tho, Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, ... and successfully organizing "Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Da Nang in 2024", contributing to effectively promoting domestic tourism development.

Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien acknowledged that Ninh Thuan Provincial Tourism Association has made efforts to build many new, quality tourism products; contributing greatly to attracting tourists to the locality in 2024.

Mr. Bien shared that in 2025, the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee aims to welcome 3.6 million visitors, including about 150,000 international visitors. The tourism industry strives to achieve revenue of 4,000 billion VND.

Therefore, the Association needs to continue promoting the achievements it has made; have more specific and detailed suggestions for the province to build tourism development programs and plans based on existing advantages, attracting more international visitors to the locality.

"Ninh Thuan will create the most favorable conditions for tourism businesses to invest, provide services, and attract tourists to the locality," Mr. Bien affirmed.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Tourism Association awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 2 individuals of the Ninh Thuan Province Tourism Association for their contributions to tourism development./.
